Single Touch Payroll Workshop Event Wrap

On Wednesday evening (29th May 2019) Ace Business held the Single Touch Payroll workshop at Cafe Nova in Gawler. The night was a great success and we received great feedback about it.

The night was an opportunity for a wide range of businesses to get a further understanding about their responsibilities for Single Touch Payroll and how to go about implementing it. There were a wide range of questions afterwards, and also a great chance for people to network. There was roughly 20 people in attendance coming from different areas.

We supplied some free wine, pizza and wedges which were well received and tasted fantastic.

The night was started with Bec introducing our team to the room and discussing the services we have to offer clients. Many people know that we do Accounting and Bookkeeping, but aren’t aware of the other services that we provide, including web solutions, integrations, advisory and web hosting.

She then went on to explain that although we specialise in Xero, we can also assist people that are using other software packages such as MYOB, Reckon, Quick Books Online, and traditional excel spreadsheets.

Next up Steven Leaney from Xero explained how simple it is to set up Single Touch Payroll within Xero, and then followed with some Questions and Answers which Bec also assisted with.

Overall the night was a great success. Thank you to Cafe Nova, and a huge thanks to Steven Leaney for speaking and giving people a much clearer path forward in relation to Single Touch Payroll. After the success of the Single Touch Payroll event we will look to see if there are other events we can host for better business insights and information related to Accounting, Bookkeeping and other areas of business.
