Yesterday we received an email from one of our clients – Tandem Energy, regarding a $20,000 federal government grant that has been released. We saw that this may present opportunities for many of our business clients so we thought we would put a quick blog post together.
One of the plus sides of this grant is that it requires no co-contribution.
The objective of this grant opportunity is to support small businesses to save energy through:
- replace existing equipment with higher efficiency equipment
- install or replace a component/s to help an existing system run more efficiently
- carry out energy audits
- carry out monitoring of energy usage and emissions
This means that if you’ve been thinking about upgrading your air conditioning, capturing the heat from your air compressor, replacing refrigeration or motors, installing energy monitors, or organising an energy audit so you know which of these is most cost-effective for your site, the government wants to help pay for it!
With Applications closing on 26th August and very minimal spots available it is best to get your application in quickly. There are only 3 grants given per electorate, so it is important get your application in.
For more information, contact Tandem Energy on 08 8121 2010 or [email protected] or visit the government website
